Group meets initially at the running track or other suitable venue
Warm up and cool down before running
Running technique is assessed by the running coach so advice can be given to each individual to prevent injuries
Each run after this initial session will have varied locations and scenic routes will be used whenever possible
Each member will receive a free running e-book along with a sample resistance and nutrition plan to assist them with their running progress.
The money will be debited from your bank account every month and is cancelable any time you choose.
Resistance training can be completed twice weekly and gain visible results in both physique an performance times.
There are 3 initial meeting points, the all weather track in Galway city, Kingston road in Knocknacarra in Galway city and Oranmore. However the actual session’s routes will change as scenic routes will be used as much as possible for variety.
Prevention of injuries is not 100% guaranteed from beginner to elite level athlete, however all injuries are caused by something we do or do not do so identification of these causes can greatly reduce injuries.
The sessions are designed for beginners and as such the distances will begin at 1 mile and progress in intensity and distance as required. We will not be going further than 5km even as the groups become more advanced.
Group sessions are €10 per individual session booked in advance.
